On August 2nd, The Centers For Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) finalized rules that will further promote interoperability through the MyHealthEdata initiative and the CMS Patients Over Paperwork initiative. These new rules hope to empower patients by providing better access to pricing data, increasing patient access to their health data and allowing providers more time dealing with patients instead of paperwork.
